OVERPRICED AT THIS SHOP. Save about $100 online. Slides in this shop $220, online at Amazon and other stores $119 inc postage. Even Grundy's are selling the same shoe for $165. Attempts at bargaining were met with hostility by the elderly woman behind the counter. We had been warned the customer service is lacking at this outlet..... they didn't disappoint. Clearly all about overcharging tourists.
Terrible customer service. I have shopped here for years and left feeling very dissapointed. I visited mid week, there were 2 staff on at the time. 1 staff member was on the computer and didn't even look up while the other was wandering around the store. No greeting, no acknowledgment what so ever. Both myself and the other customrs left empty handed and disssapointed. Probably wont shop here again.
Great service is an understatement for this store. Unfortunately they didn't;t have my daughters size but went above an beyond to write every bit of details down for her to find in future! Brilliant aftercare advice, super friendly staff!
Not really worth going unless to size your Birkenstock for online order. Nice people but when I arrived and inquired about the various sandals, only one out of dozens was available in a 39. The shop assistant suggested I "go online". I checked on the sizing with a pair I didn't like, went home, and ordered two fun pairs. Really disappointed by the limited and unexciting range.
Had a terrible experience in here. The staff member was very unhelpful and just stood and stared at me when I was trying to ask for help. I said I was a size 9 but wasn’t sure what that translated to in Birkenstock, she looked me up and down and said “these are all narrow fit” then proceeded to stand there and not say anything. I have never left a shop feeling so degraded. I would have bought two pairs of shoes from here if she was willing to help me with sizing or ask me any questions. I ended up going to another store and bought my two pairs! And would you believe they were narrow fit! Avoid this place if you’re after friendly service.
Strongly recommend buying your Birks in Hahndorf , a very pleasant 20 min drive from Adelaide. Great service. Great product. Lovely shop in beautiful location.

Three ladies behind the counter when I arrived - not greeted by a single one.
When I asked for help it appeared to be an inconvenience. The lady I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and unimpressed that I was trying to support a small local business!
I took my business elsewhere!
